Volunteer Opportunities

For UCLA Students!

We need help collecting data on campus between September 15th and October 19th 2023. The general aim of the study is evaluating the immunological and psychological changes that happen as first years transition to campus and how to promote resiliency during this major upheaval. This is the perfect opportunity to get psychology/psychiatry research experience because it only requires <2 months of scheduled volunteer shifts on your part!

In exchange for an at least 6 hour per week commitment I will:

1) Provide letters of recommendation
2) Give feedback on application materials for jobs/internships/graduate school
3) You will be invited to join optional weekly, 60-minute professional development seminars with my team
4) You will also be able to attend optional lab meetings at Dr. George Slavich's Laboratory for Stress Assessment and Research
5) Optional, biweekly 1-on-1 meetings to work on your career goals
6) Authorship opportunities on posters and papers
